Personal Access Codes (PAC) are used to verify your identity when you register for My Service Canada Account (MSCA). If you already applied for Canada Pension Plan (CPP) or Old Age Security (OAS) benefits, Service Canada has sent you a PAC in a mailed letter. If you wish to access MSCA for other benefits, you need to request a PAC. If you previously requested a PAC and lost it, you can request a new one.
Receiving a PAC can take up to 10 business days. For a quicker access, verify your identity using the Interac® verification service during your MSCA registration.
